There is a form for adding members to the club membership insurance roster after the initial enrollment..

There is only a fee for members that are added to the club roster that have not been registered in any club for the year 2006. If the person has been registered and insurance paid by another club then there is no fee. The minimum fee this year is $45.00. This would be for less than 11 members. This year all clubs had at least the minimum.

You have two ways to get your member insured. The USDA rules require a fee of $4.10 per additional member to be insured. This fee is for year 2006 only and may change in subsequent years.  There is no fee for class members, but the insurance company needs to have a record of the class members.  When they graduate and become members the yearly fee must be paid. This should be sent in shortly before graduation so as to be covered when they become members.

1. You should make one check to the RAF of $4.10 for each person to be insured and send two copies of the form to me prior to a Federation Meeting.  I will then give the checks to the RAF treasurer at the meeting and they will give me a check for the USDA and I will send them at that time.  Note the meeting are Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan, Mar, Apr, May, and Jun.

2. To facilitate this two checks should be made out. One should be made out to the USDA for $4.05 per member added and the second check for $0.05 member added made out to the Rochester Area Federation to cover mailing and handling. Send two copies of the form. I will send them directly to the USDA and give the second check to the RAF treasurer at the meeting

I will need two copies to the list. One for my records and one for the USDA.
