Dance with THE VILLAGE SQUARES !

The VILLAGE SQUARES get together from 8:00-10:30pm on most WEDNESDAYS (Sept-May) for dancing, fun and friendship with JERRY CARMEN calling and cueing.  We dance at the East Rochester First Presbyterian Church, 109 East Avenue, in East Rochester, NY.  We are a couples club, with annual dues at $25/couple and a members’ donation of $7/cpl for regular dances.  Visitors’ donation is $9/cpl.  We dance at the “Plus” level, and provide instruction for beginners as well as experienced dancers.  Look for class & dance announcements in the Promenader, or contact Peter & Sally Emmel (585-381-5049).

We especially encourage ALL AREA SQUARE & ROUND DANCERS to join us at our special theme dances throughout the season.  Details are published regularly in the Promenader magazine.  For 2007-2008 these include: HALLOWEEN dance on October 31^st  ...  BARN DANCE on November 14 (pie night) with Jerry Carmen’s interesting mix of tunes!  ...  HOLIDAY DINNER DANCE (with Country Twirlers and Belles ‘n Beaus) on December 7^th with Jerry Carmen and Gary & Alice Bubel calling & cueing at the Diplomat Party House (reservation req’d for dinner)  ...  NEW YEARS EVE dance on December 31^st with the Hip Boot Boyz at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Brighton  ...  PRESIDENTS DANCE on February 20^th  ...  SADIE HAWKINS DANCE on March 19^th  ...  TRI-CLUB dance (with Country Twirlers and Cloverleafs) on April 26^th at Washington Irving School  ...  RIDING THE RAILS DANCE on May 21^st  ...  and our final dance of the season - our TRAIL’S END pot-luck supper dance on June 4^th.
